mOndAy.......

Assalamualaikum.......

Welcome to Monday today, haha. Actually, I don't know what to write for this post just to fill out my free blank time. I just watched a video about the retirement of Cikgu Tajudin. He is the only teacher who had spent about 35 YEARS working in Jenan, isn't that awesome. If he could be so faithful towards our school, He must be very faithful towards her family and especially, his wife. You know what, finally last night I could watch 2 episodes of Air City ( just to stare at the hero of the Korean drama he he ).

I almost forgot, how can I apply for MARA scholarship, I had opened its portal website but there was nothing there except the announcement that the online application has opened today. Help me...... Now my mother wants to use this laptop. So that's all I can post for today. Sorry for a very short post.

YPM IntErvIEw.......

Assalamualaikum.......

Today, I would like to share with you my interview of Yayasan Pelajaran MARA at Ipoh Heritage Hotel. There were about 2 girls ( I am one of it ) and 7 boys perhaps....... I arrived there at 1315 pm because we have to be there 30 minutes earlier but I am much earlier.

Before we start the interview, we had a little briefing about the interview and then we began the writing test. my comment about the writing test was if the SPM candidates this year did those questions, I am sure they will get flying colors as all the 20 questions were all in Form 5 syllabus which are English, Physics, Additional Mathematics and Chemistry.

As I have not opened the revision books about a few months, then my comment is that was quite hard. So make sure even though you have passed the SPM, revise the subject back a little bit. Then, we have a break for 30 minutes unfortunately, the food served could not attracted my appetite as I was too nervous for the oral interview. We were divided into two groups. I was in the second group and the first candidate, gulp.......

The interviewers were just fine, a gentleman and a lady. The questions were common such as tell me abou yourself, what do you know about this scholarship and etc. The most surprising when the interviewer asked me to write a chemical question that will result in carbon dioxide. You know what I wrote, PbCO3 + 2HCl -> PbCl2 + H2O + CO2. He said that the chemical equation was quite complex but it was much better than a few persons who wrote it like this, C + O2 -> CO2. Because the correct answer was CO + O2 -> 3CO2. Okay, I was proud in that moment.

But once he asked me about a Physic question, I totally down. I surrender. What should I do? I only once got A for my Physic during early year examination in Form 4 and during SPM. Bismllahitawakkaltualallah....... Well, it's okay if I got the scholarship but if not, Allah will always help me....... That's all for today.

prEpArAtIOn tOwArds schOlArshIp IntErvIEw.......

Assalamualaikum.......

I am so grateful because I have been selected to be invited to Yayasan Pelajaran Mara scholarship interview in 15 April. So today I would like to share with you a few questions and answers during interview. I found these examples last night after doing some searching at a few of scholarship websites.

#1- What are your career goals?

~ I would like to obtain a master degree in Mechanical Engineering and to find opportunity to take many courses involving this career.

I am also would like to acquire a Mechanical Engineer position in industry of this country help a company that hired me to achieve its goals. I want to look forward to increase knowledge and want to be a person who is capable to handle the challenges.

#2- Why would you be an excellent recipient of this scholarship?

~ After high school, I wanted to pursue my study at higher level and would like to do that debt free. As I am known as a hard working student, I always get good grades which is 3.5 and above in every examination and still have time to do things that are non academic.

#3- Tell me about yourself.

~ I am a common lady with common sense which is very uncommon these days. I am a strong believer of the fact that to achieve success you don't have to do different thing, in fact, you have to do the things differently. I am also a hard work, quick and eager learner and always pays attention to details. I am very versatile and can perform well in many conditions. Basically, I am a flexible person and can be successful at any kind of situation.

#4- What is your biggest weakness?

~ Well, my presentation skills are not the best one. But I read a lot of literature and regularly practice to improve it.

~ Time to time I have problems with concentrations in work. But I have been working on this ability for a long time now and it's much better as it was 2 years ago.

~ I have been told I occasionally focus on details and miss the bigger picture, so I have been spending time laying out the complete task every day to see my overall projects.

~ I am too focused on my work and I need to find more time to relax. I also need to develop some after hour's hobbies.

pEngkhIrAn UntUk hArI InI...

Assalamualaikum......

Tiba - tiba sahaja Nieyl rasa nak tulis dalam Bahasa Melayu. Maaflah, baku sedikit ya......

Hari ini, segala peristiwa yang berlaku sudah mencapai penghujungnya. Sepupu Nieyl yang datang dari KL sudah balik ke rumah mereka setelah 4 hari 3 malam menetap di rumah Nieyl. Seronok sangat, walaupun sekejap tetapi terasa sangat kehadiran mereka. Sudah tentulah, mereka merupakan antara sepupu Nieyl yang paling rapat. Mereka minat 2PM, Nieyl pun minat 2PM terutamanya Ok Taecyeon. Adakah patut Mama Nieyl samakan Oppa Taecyeon dengan Lee Chong Wei? Lee Chong Wei tu kacak, tetapi Oppa Taecyeon lagi manis apabila mata memandang, hehehe...

Peliklah pulak bila tulis dalam Bahasa Melayu baku ni kan. Lagi satu peristiwa yang mencapai penghujung pula ialah drama Korea 'Becoming A Billionaire'. Nieyl terlepas beberapa episod sahaja. Di sini, Nieyl ingin meletakkan beberapa gambar drama ini.
